I'm not sure how most people see me, but I'll try and describe how I see myself. I'm a very determined and curious person. If there's a subject I'm interested in, I'll search out any information I can, learn everything I can about it, until some inner part of me is satisfied. I like the less mainstream parts of society. I'm a gamer girl, an anime fan, an SF/F avid reader, I've been on the fencing team, I've taken archery, I've been to Ren-Faires and have costumes for them (well, just one costume). I go to the oldest anime convention in the U.S. every year in Dallas. I like to go to hole in the wall places, restaurants, bookstores, and little shops.

I love to write, and I currently read and review science fiction and fantasy books, and critique how they portray minority characters and LGBTQ characters. I'm very passionate about trying to bring tolerance and diversity to my favorite genre, and I'm studying English and Woman's Studies in order to further that goal.

I have been... a cliche'. Suburban mom married for 17 years. It's ending now. Was not my choice, I think I would have hung on forever. I'm loyal that way. But life had other plans for me. The following months will be a process of picking up the pieces and reinvention.
