Artist Bio
I have captured pictures and made memories for over thirty years. I've traveled from the wonderful Olympus OM system to the digital frontier. During the film era I enjoyed taking pictures of sporting events (mostly high school) and weddings. I'm proud of the success I enjoyed and had a lot of fun too.
Photography is such a great hobby for it evolves with the changes in one's life. Pictures of my children have proven to be priceless. I view them now and remember those special times before they knew everything. Pictures of our vacations remain as dividends from the travel expenses and the , "Are we there yet?" questions.
While the digital photography revolution was beginning my hobby languished. Then I picked up a Nikon digital camera in 2004. The digital aspects immediately aroused my energy and creativity. I moved up to the D70 (a great camera) for added features and waved goodbye to digital delay!
My goal is to turn this lifelong passion into a successful photography business. I continue to add events, weddings and portraits to my calendar.<p>Photography allows one to capture the abundant life that surrounds us. It allows a different perspective, literally, and as photographers we see life's intricacies others pass by. Perhaps it's a duty to record and display these threads of life?
I enjoy humor, wit, music, a good book and I love to BBQ!
