The building was designed by Pritzker Prize winner Louis Kahn, whose use, together with the Kimbell Art Foundation, is a private foundation based in London. InFort Worth, TX, founded by the former president and chief executive of the Houston Museum of Art in 1998. Located west of the original museum, this new building reflects the Kahn building, but in a more modern, modern and modern style.
